36+ years of experience in the General Insurance Industry. Started his career as Officer in Loss Prevention Association of India Limited (LPA), a subsidiary company of GIC Re. He has been involved in most of the technical activities, such as training, cargo loss minimization, risk management etc. Joined United India Insurance in 1996, worked in various capacities as Internal Auditor, Technical Officer, Branch Manager, Divisional Manager and Regional Manager and having exposure in Marketing, Technical, Underwriting & Claims – across all departments including all types of liability. Handled large corporate clients. He has worked as General Manager Operations at Kenindia Assurance Company, Nairobi Kenya. He is a trainer for trainees & faculty for various technical subjects. Worked as Examiner for Insurance Institute of India. He handled Government sponsored Health Insurance scheme for the mass.
He was awarded the Ph.D. degree for his thesis on Micro-insurance. He is an academician holding various degrees /diplomas which includes Master of Business Managements, General Laws, Specials Diplomas in Casualty Actuarial Science, Health Insurance, Personnel Management & Industrial relationship. He is the Fellow member of Insurance Institute of India. His passion to participate, read and develop his professional skills for organizational interest and to encourage the fellow subordinates and colleagues in the same way.
